It depends on the freight company and their schedule. I've had freight arrive from across the country in as little 2-3 days and as long as 10-14 under normal circumstances.
In many cases, they wait for trailer to "fill" before leaving. They may hold a truck a day or two if things are slow.
Your shipment might sit there for days waiting for a truck when it's busy.
Typically the freight company will call you to make arrangements for a residential delivery. At that point, you can get some confidence in the delivery date.
