This particular misstep could have been a more expensive mistake but I was taking small steps.
Renogy said their batteries can’t be wired in series. Hmmm, then that 24V Victron charger will make a nice, large $175 paperweight.

Either that or spend about 25% more to get two(2) Ampere Time 24V 100AH batteries. Anybody have some opinions on the Ampere Time batteries? Saw one YouTube teardown of a 50AH battery and the low temp sensor wasn’t working.

Some can and some cant. It depends on the BMS. The individual 12V BMS need to be able to handle system voltage.

Will recommends them.

Why are you concerned about the low temp sensor if you have a Victron Charge Controller?

Victron charge controller will not perform low temp shutdown without Smart Shunt/BMV712 or Smart Battery sense.
These units report temperature to the controller, the stand alone controller will not carry out low temp shutdown.

You can also put your batteries up for sale here in the for sale forum, also put it on Craigslist. And get some 24V capable batteries.
