Sol-Ark battery settings not taking.

If you have communication connected then all the inverter charge voltage/current settings are ignored.

Correct but everyone still needs to go into batt-V mode and put in settings that are compatible with your batteries.
if the closed loop cable loses comms the inverter defaults back to the batt-v mode.

I hope this is the case, as whatever I put in the seplos for "total voltage overvoltage protection" is what gets populated in float, absorption, and equalization on the inverter.

That being the case, I don't know which seplos setting is float.

Seplos doesn't have an option to change for each charging step. They only allow a total voltage charge.

This is mainly the reason why I do not have closed loop between my Seplos and the SolArk anymore, among a couple others.
