Sol-Ark flowing towards generator?

Howdy all - wondering if any Sol-Ark guys have ever seen this. Sol-Ark is commanding the generator on, but not accepting any charge to batteries, and actually shows power going in reverse direction as usual, towards generator. I attached a picture. What the heck is going on here lol

It shouldn't be doing that if the port is set as a generator input.
I would double check the settings. As it is configurable as both an input or an output.

Right. But if it’s in percentage SOC mode, it works properly. If I switch it to voltage mode, like everybody suggests, it does this. What settings you think I should check?

Assuming generator is on the Gen Input:
Batt Setup Screen
Smart Load Tab
None of the boxes should be checked.

Assuming Generator is on the Grid Input:
Depending upon your firmware version
Old Firmware:
Grid Param screen
Sell Control Tab
Gen Connected to Grid Input - check the box.
Zero Export Power 10w or higher

New firmware (2023 version of the manual)
Limiter Screen
Other Tab
Gen Connected to Grid Input - check the box.
Zero Export Power 10w or higher

If you are off-grid, you may also want to:
Limiter Tab
Grid Sell - Uncheck
Limit Power to Load - Checked

Also worth checking (for the sake of the generator):
Basic Setup Screen
Advanced Tab
Gen Limit Power
Set to 80% of your generator's run capacity.

Ok thanks DIYrich, I’ll check that. I know I do have generator on grid, and I checked the ‘gen to grid input’, but the rest I’ll check on tonight, I’m in the new firmware. Could any of those explain it working when on % mode, then doing this on V mode?
