Solar Edge Home Hub SE10000H-US, 10kW AC Single Phase

Hi Everyone,

New to the forum but I do have experience with string inverters... now I am about to get a solar edge system due to my roof complexity.

I have been trying to find some information on Solar Edge and I must say that they are not great on documentation... Can anyone out there let me know the following:

- What is the Max string power that the inverter can accept? total DC over sizing says it is 22000 KW for the 10KW unit Home Hub single Phase.

- How many Optimizers in series can I install for the above inverter? planing to use 390W Trina Black panel with S440 Optimizer.

- How many strings DC input is available on the SE10000H-US, 10kW?

I can't seem to find any information about this on their datasheet...

I believe Solar Edge expects you to go online and use their calculator/system designer to assist with all those questions. It's free and worked for me.

I ended up using their tool online but i find very pathetic the fact that some of this very important information is not even on their datasheet...

Shame on their engineering group...

This is what I found using their tool:

Max string length = 6000W
Minimum Optimizers = 8
If you have more than 2 strings you will need a DC combiner...

I can't believe none of this info is on their manual... Very disappointing...

You can put up to 25 optimizers on one string.
I've only done 1 install on my own place.
Found all the information I needed on the site but it's not all bundled in one place.
