Today's Daly SmartBMS Android App Update forces a firmware update which fails

Hi guys. I've installed the BMS_Update.apk app on my phone. It sees my Smart Active Balancer (was able to restore it), and my 4s Smart BMS but NOT my 8s Smart BMS. Do you have any ideas why? The phone itself sees the device via Bluetooth and via Smart BMS app. I've changed the BMS name before to "DL-27ah". Could it be the problem? Thanks.

Change the bluetooth dongle from the BMS to the other.
I don't know why, but some dongle are working, some not.

Tried. Didn't help. I was able to restore the BMS via PC. Even changing the name to its default one didn't fix the Bluetooth discovery problem. Magic

this daly firmware update, any serious gains from doing it?.
1 user said it unlocked his balance settings. so he can now select 2amps balance current. can somebody who has updated confirm if this is true

Hello,
does anyone have the latest firmware for a HEYO (DALI) BMS 8S 24V 150A with type designation R32U-GC02? Currently the PC Config software shows me as BMS SW version: 20210222-1.01T and the BMS HD version: DL-BMS-R32-01E.
I have many problems with the currently installed firmware!
Would be great if I could try an update.

Hello,
My current BMS is 16S 48Volt 200A. Software version: 31_220808_100B, BMS HD Version: BMS-GD230-309E.
Which firmware you suggest to upgrade to ? Also my bluetooth device is not discoverable so i give 3.3 volt from first cell to the green wire and it works now. The interesting thing is that there is 3.2volt coming to the green line from Daly BMS uart connector but it can not boot.
Maybe this is software related. Please suggest which version to use for flashing

I share here two firmware from deutsch forum MicroCharge. I only flash successfully the most recent. No significant change
The second one (C00P) is designed to avoid current fluctuation when monitoring, I haven't tested it personnaly but at least one person report successful flash and issue resolved but bad news he report in the same time possibly cell voltage drift in monitoring.

This two firmware are designed for GD230 309E
Personnally my BMS is a DALY 16S 48V 250A without FAN (R32W1-*-HI06)

SmartBMS updated this morning on my Android phone. On opening the App it will connect to the BMS but will provide no information (other than its serial number and firmware version). The App demands to install a "software" update (which I guess should be "firmware" update) which loads extremely slowly and fails every time at just under 60%.
The Daly BMS is now running entirely blind as I cannot see any parameters in the Bluetooth App.
