Too many projects, now where did I put that...

Yup ^^^, me too!!

It's the "reverse-illusion" that gets me.

Let me explain, an "illusion" is when you see something that's not there, the "reverse-illusion" is when you know damn well something is there, but you just can't see it!

For example, I just put that small screwdriver down on my desk by my left hand (I'm a southpaw). 30 seconds later I go to pick it up and it's not there! Look in another 30 seconds and the ruddy thing is back!!

Now tell me that's never happened to you!
That's the work of those damm gremlins!
They just mess with you.

I got mad and bought a ten-pack of 10mm sockets...and still can't find any!
I just organized my friggin' tools - and I must of put the nut drivers in a "safe place" BECAUSE I CAN'T FIND THEM!

🤦‍♂️I didn't check the tool box... nope, not there either. 🤷‍♂️

Prett sure I misplaced as many tools, bits, and chargers today as screws I screwed.
And now my tool pile looks like the screw pile but in the corner so I can resume again after work 🤣

Not to mention the countless times I went back and forth between the equipment shelter and the truck looking for that wrench or screwdriver I stuck in my pocket 20 minutes ago so I wouldn’t misplace it!

Harbor Freight is way too close to my house. When they put the folding utilities on sale, you should always buy two or three, one of each color and latch design. Oh and an extra box of blades to go with the 5 you can't find. Don't ever buy the expensive ones, they seem to have faster legs to flee with.

I'm notorious for spinning in circles trying to find my pen...

Taking the pen from behind my ear and scratching my head...

Putting the pen back behind my ear...

Where the HELL did I put that pen??!!

:fp2
I've done this so many times. My wife has looked at me funny or laughed over it. What? I can't find it!....oh.

I see you don't know My Favorite Wife! 8*) To be fair, she is the (other) one who wants the reliable, resilient, off-grid power.
No shame in giant hands all the better for hydraulic crimping of lugs!

In seriousness though my wife does like the prepper/self sufficiency aspect of things. Solar panels are the easiest as they never have to come into the house.
