We have around 760w of solar panels and three 12v 100ah lifepo4 batteries.. so need to know which charge controller will be best.
We are currently only using two of the panels at 350w max solar power, alot less this time of year. However we only use the power for led lights and charging phones and tablets maximum lights on eight hours a day .. any clues please ?.. my expertise on this area is nil..
I'm a good cook though ?

You need to supply more information
panel quantity and specs
system voltage
take a picture of the specs information sticker on the back of one of the panels assuming all the panels are the same if not will need the specs on all the panels

How were the panels hooked up before? There must have been an existing solar charge controller? Did it fail, or did you outgrow it with additional solar panels?

If that's the case, how much solar do you ever plan to have in use at this site? Since you are about to spend money you probably want to consider buying something that would accommodate future growth if you ever plan to expand the system beyond this stage.

In Reply to everyone, thank you for your responses , so photos included of where we are and the panels one photo is of the spec of the four panels two, plus two we're thinking of adding but not sure we'd need four . Photo of batteries and battery spec (we have three batteries and intending to wire parallel)and some of basic use items just strip LEDs and small usbs for chargers.. we use the lights alot in winter which is why we're thinking more panels and decent charge controller .. we may need to disconnect the wind turbine as it doesn't produce much power unless it's gale force. The charge controller we have is t suitable for lifepo4 batteries and unfortunately my fella is unable to wrap his head around it .. he's worse than me with technology.. Unfortunately I don't have any recipes for beef or seafood as I'm a vegetarian so I've included a photo of some home made bread?

That's a pretty good start. Only thing missing from the pics is what charge controller was in between the panels and batteries before, as in up to this point? There must be a reason the current charge controller is no longer usable with the addition of more panels. But without knowing what the current charge controller is, it's hard to see what the motivation for upgrading it is. Just trying to match my/our recommendations to the actual expectations you're trying to hit. It sounds like one of the main criteria might be 'ease of use' but most charge controllers all have roughly the same types of basic settings so educating yall is probably a better road to take vs dumbing down the product you're trying to use.

But still, take pic or post brand and model of current charge controller. Then we can say is it appropriate: yes or no, and give recommendations on what settings should be set to.

Hi Vigo, It's a basic hybrid, but we weren't planning on using it as hybrid, I've no idea what make it is,but everything is currently outside of the caravans and getting in a mess as you can see.. I'll try googling the photo of the charge controller .. ?
