Completely newbie about the batteries, a bit less newbie about electricity.
Current environment (in UK)
I have an existing solar panel system (10*375w backed by 10 iq7+ micros). I am going to install an ev charging point which would involve (as far as I understand) setting up a new circuit attached to the consumer unit and about 20mt of SWA cable (probably 10mm?) which would go outside the house all the way to the garage
Now the questions:
Do the batteries need to have be hooked up in a specific place from the circuit point of view, or can they be deployed anywhere?
Would it make sense (since I am going to pay an electrician to mess with consumer unit) to ask them to predispose a junction box/distribution board in the garage so that I can add some battery system later on?
If I wanted to actually go for a battery, what kind of equipment would be required? An inverter or ac integrated batteries?
Thanks in advance
