Victron Phoenix 12/3000 firmware update problem

I would like to update the firmware to hopefully eliminate/reduce the inverter's hum (PIA) but works great.

My inverter is not being detected? I plugged the MK3-USB cable in, turned inverter on and installed victron connect, inverter not detected. Of course. I then used CDM21228_Setup.exe to install the USB drivers and tried it again. It's still not detecting the inverter. I have a Win 10 laptop, which has had no issues. Would anyone have a suggestion?

I needed to manually enable a USB driver and find the victron connect settings password online, which is zzz.

In the end, the firmware update did help with the humming issue, A LITTLE. Definitely not worth the $72 I paid for the dongle!!!

I purchased my inverter from Inverters R Us. I did find out that Current Connected updates the diveces they sell before shipment and puts a note inside the enclosure. How nice is that. Who will I be purchasing from in the future?
