Victron wi fi won't connect on victron connect.

I ordered a Victron wi fi for my 12-2000 inverter because the bluetooth range was only about 10 feet.
I received the unit yesterday and installed it according to the little card that came with it.
When I try to connect to Victron conect app I get nothing.
All I have is the blue flashing connecting light on the unit itself.
I researched the Victron site and they have nothing about the unit except the so called manual. There wasn't anything on their forum I could find to address the problem.
If I can't fix it I will have to return and get a credit.
I was going to gradually going to upgrade my system to Victron but with this kind of support I will look elsewhere, maybe Midnight solar.
Every company's software I have tried to use has been nothing but crap so far.

Did you get a GX device of some kind? Has it connected successfully to your network?

I've found Victron manuals to be pretty darn well written and helpful. Their forum too so something may be amiss here. Their dealers can be pretty helpful too (at least the ones I've encountered).

The manual for the GX is 152 pages long which seems like more than a 'so-called manual'.

Or did you order a VE Bus smart Dongle?

I have one - it’s a good unit to access the inverter over Bluetooth on the app.

Problem is so far a lack of information from you

What are you using when trying to connect? Cell Phone? Tablet? Other? Android/Apple?

All needed info to help. Victron is most likely not to blame in most cases. A++ equipment
