Voltage at Battery after BMS turned off?

Morning all.

I recently installed an ANT 8-24S BMS configured to 15s. Everything works fine using the VBMS app. When I turn the BMS off I still have voltage at the battery terminals (15v), is this normal?

The BMS is external to and cuts the battery off from the rest of the system. It will not affect voltage at the battery terminals. When you are measuring directly at the terminals, you are bypassing the BMS.

Not sure why a 15S system would measure 15V.
