My new camper came with 3 Renogy 12 volt 100 ah lithium iron phosphate batteries. I am now storing them for the winter. User manual say store at 50 % and use the activation switch to put batteries in shelf mode. 50% is 13.2 volts. When I use the activation switch the voltage is 5.25. Can anyone explain this? Thanks

The activation switch turns off the BMS input and output.
What you are reading is not usable voltage. It won't power a load. But can be seen with a meter. The battery is basically off, or sleeping.
