YEP .. the issue was that the guys before me had tested all sorts of things like that and others .. and they lasted great for the first 30 days .. but then with the Texas and New Mexico weather (HEAT) they had to go reapply and reapply becuase it literally just evaporated and pretty soon .. they just hoped for rain to wash them .. LOL

In your neck of the desert, isn't waiting for rain to wash them like playing lotto - but with worse odds?

Jack Rickard talked about Tesla's Transparent aluminum molecules being like glass having a permanent coating a rain-x (58:15). Wonder if those would do better against soiling?
