I am looking to install 13000-15000 Watts panels in US ;split phase 240/120v, with 48V DC battery bank.
And am looking in to some options:
sol-ark 15k - $7300
eg4-18k - $6500
or 2 growatt SPF 8000T DVM-MPV for about $4000 ( this apparently does not sell excess to grid)
Wish to be able to work off grid, sell to grid, with or without batteries; Not at the same time of course.
Do you have any recommendations?

Definitely not the Growatt if you want to sell to the grid. The Grid connected Growatts use high voltage batteries, so avoid those too.

Toss up between Sol-Ark 15k and EG4 18kPV. 15k has been around longer than the 18kpv. 15k, software wise, is very similar to the 12k (if not identical). 18kpv seems to be solid. Up to you whether the $800 is worth not buying Version 1.

Sol-Ark also has a board that interfaces with their new Optimizers (includes rapid shut down). Documentation (as of 2 weeks) did not mention panel level monitoring, but others have said it does.

The low frequency growatts (such as the 8000 DVM MPV you mention) cannot be stacked, so if you go that route and need more power a second one would have to have its own system
