Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has/knows a source for high-quality thick gauge stranded copper wires (2 AWG - 4/0 AWG) in/around Vancouver, BC, Canada, or anywhere in Canada with fast shipping.

Something like a TEMCo brand with +105°C rating. Looks like TEMCo wires are not available on amazon.ca:

Thank you in advance.

Princess auto has serviceable welding cable.
The store brand stuff is actually rated for 105C and its relatively cheap.
I use rw90 up to 2 awg for stationary applications which is available at home depot.
The thhn is pretty hard to cut though.
Thhn and rw90 is the same thing and is actually rated to 105C.

Steveston Marine in Vancouver has tinned wire by the foot.
Air Liquide on Boundary carry welding cable or Polar battery down a block also carry’s it I think

Agree with Princess auto, usually goes on sale for 1/2 price, any welding shop can supply it though. If you want the best (most expensive) go to Steveston Hardware and buy tinned marine cable, just can't get it in Steveston anymore....
I have some shorter pieces of #4 marine cable in my shop you can message me.

Slow typing again.....

Thank you all for your kind replies. Princess Auto is a good option although their inventory online shows most of the stores don't have the thicker gauge wires in stock in locations close to us.

RW90 would not work for us, since we are planning to use these cables for our solar/battery setup on our RV.

We visited Air Liquide on Boundary today and they only have #2 and 2/0 in limited quantities.

We also looked into a local distributor called Texcan. Here are their welding cable selections:
https://www.texcan.com/products/5-automotive-transit-cables/166-excelene-welding-cable

They only accept a minimum order of $700 CAD. So, if you have a bigger project and need lots of cables you can possibly try Texcan.

Also, we have looked at TEMCo Industrial. Most of their products/cables are unavailable on their Canadian Amazon store. But on their eBay store, it seems like we can order their cables and have them shipped to Canada:
