I need to add a short splice on the end of an Enphase Q-cable so that the length is long enough to make it inside of a jbox. I am going to use Enphase Male/Female field wireable connectors. Like these
Do I have to have one of the $500 crimp tools to do this?
If an expensive crimp tool is necessary, could I use a Nema rated jbox attached to the solar panel rail (XR10)? Would this get by inspection?
