Good evening Gentlemen,

Adding two JA 460 watt panels.

Max voltage 42.13 each

Max current 10.92 each

12 volt inverter so battery's are all 12 volt wired in parallel.

Am I correct in thinking I will require two EPVER TRIRON4210N 40amp /12v 780watt charge controllers ?

One for each panel, as the wattage if the panels were wired in series would be to much for one controller even given that the panels will not reach max power ?

Thank you for your time God Bless Chadd

Is that temp adjusted Voc?

How many batteries and are they wired in a balanced manner? Have a pic or diagram?

(2x 460W) / 14V charging = 65.7A charging operating at 100%

A 40A charger for each panel is a good size.

Without knowing the temp adjusted Voc of your panels and the SCC max input voltage its hard to say. But 2 of those panels are too many watts for a single 40A SCC (25.7A left unused if panels producing at 100%).

Thank youi for your reply, I now understand the unused part which was not clear to me before.
