Will the Mpp 2424 AIO inverter charge while off?

Can't find the answer in the manual. Will the batteries still charge if the inverter is off? I realize that it pretty easy to find out, but I just hooked up the system, and it's been cloudy and rainy. One sunny day is all I'd need. Thanks.

Well, I'm shocked....not literally....genius me turned off the inverter and wow, the inverter portion turned off, but the charger portion and fan stayed on. Great to know.

yes, the solar mppt charger will continue to work as long as there is sun on the panels even if the inverter is turned off
