wire connector

I have the Renogy 40amp dc to dc charger I need to know what size wire connector 3/8 or 5/16 to connect the battery cable to the charger? I will be using 6 AWG. I am new to all this just to let you guys know I will be hooking up 400 watts solar panels with a 30 amp controller. I will be up grading the on board 12-volt converter power source with a 65amp lithium battery charger. this will be on an older truck camper a 1989 lance and a ford f250 4x4. the wife and I love boondocking. we did so for our honeymoon 43 years ago. Thanks for the help I am happy I found this forum I like what I see.

It's right there in the installation manual. Not! Renogy sure isn't helping you out, are they? It looks like the terminals are closer to 1/4" to me. I have lugs from TEMCo Industrial that are 6 awg and 1/4" that I used in my system.

Pull one of the bolts and see what ring terminal fits the tightest.
