Well I went and bought this Paneltronics AC panel similar to what I have on my boat, thinking I could figure it out, but of course I can’t. 🤦‍♂️

My inverter is a EG4 3000 AIO unit that will be mounted in a stepvan. I have the inverter and battery temporarily installed in the van on a hand truck to run tools and a refrigerator. The inverter case was previously not grounded to the van and I recently shocked myself using a power tool, so I got that grounded with the help from some kind folks here.

Now I need more help trying to figure out how to wire this panel. My inverter only puts out 120v, and it could be plugged into shore power at times using the AC input terminals on the inverter and a shore power cord I was going to hook up. Since when not plugged into into shore power I have a “floating” ground (from what I understand), but when plugged in I will have an earth ground, how do I wire the ground? Also, where do I put the hot and and neutral coming from the inverter?

Or, is this panel just a bad idea and should I send it back?
