I’m new here and new to solar systems. I am looking to build a solar system for my RV and have previously purchased a Yeti 1500 and Yeti portable solar panel. I am wanting to have a solar system installed on/in my RV. I have a garage in the rear of the RV. Does my Yeti have a built in controller? Can I use the Yeti 1500 for my battery (or part of my batteries?). Or do I start over and purchase all new items (like the video for beginners?). Any and all help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
Also if you can send pics if possible will help me tremendously since I don’t understand any of this solar stuff lol. Bill

You could use it, but IMO you’d be better off installing something different.

The invert on the yeti seems decent, but the 1.5 kw is not much, especially if hooking a 15 amp plug to shore power to run the RV. The converter in the RV would let you charge the battery, but not efficient.

Wouldn’t hurt to try it once.
