Today my delivery of 32x 280ah LFP cells arrived from Senbry, these were listed as brand new EVE cells, he was a seller on here but has since been banned for advertising at every opportunity as fas as i know.

I paid $70 per cell plus $4 per Kilo shipping by train. total was just under $3100 door to door.

First impressions.

Very well packaged with double walled cardboard outer box, inner top and bottom foam packaging holding the cells very tight and included bus bars, studs and nuts.
The bus bars appear to be a tinned copper item as I've scraped off some of the tinning.

Next up is an IR test and capacity test once top balanced. will report back once I have done this. so far my first impressions are pretty good.

The cells look brand new and have genuine holographic EVE labels, don't appear to be rewrapped items, I will need to check their authenticity on the EVE site.
Each cell was exactly 3.32V out of the box not one was lower or higher than this.

Good to know you received the cells and everything is looking good. (y)
Regarding the Riden, I see you have it set up for battery charging. I didn't know it had that option until I took a closer look at it. Have you tested it for the charging function or is this the first test? Mainly interested to know if it cuts off at the set charging voltage. Also looking forward to more updates. Thanks.

Its my first outing with it, It cuts off on charge mode when the current drops to 10ma @3.65v , ive hooked it up to my network so its logging the charge curve to my NAS drive. so far its been blanacing for 6 hours and only dropped 160ma

Sounds good. Yeah that's a large pack....going to take awhile. I am thinking the Riden may be the way to go. So many features. Gotta do some more research but I really like it.

EDIT: Just found you did a review on the Riden in the other thread. Thanks for that. Geeeez, I even commented in that thread and forgot all about it....lol.

That is going to take a long while! Are your battery sides perfectly flat? I decided to stop parallel charging at 3.5 as I noticed each having a slight bludge on the sides in line with the posts. I don't think they were there at lower voltage.

You REALLY should put the positive and negative leads on different ends of the parallel battery bank to get balanced charging.

Ive not seen will or anyone else do this in their videos, there was a long thread on that very point on here and the consensus was, it made zero difference as a parallel pack at those charge rates and voltages.

There doesnt seem to be any bulges yet, its been going for around 15 hours so far.

Hello shavermcspud. How did you check the authenticity of the stickers? Please?

I also bought cells from Senberry about 1+ months ago and they arrived today. I am pleased to say that the appear to be new cells (though who can know for sure). I bought 4 200 Ah cells, and the stickers say these are "CATL MFH38L 3.22V-650Wh". They all came within 1 mV (the resolution of my instrument) of 3.328V (which is ~50% charge, perfect). After 1 month of transport under probably uncontrolled temperature this is not bad.

Now it is off to testing... when I have time... and try to build a mild compression setup.

My apologies for not crediting the original poster, I downloaded this screen grab from this forumView attachment 21538

Original poster was Heiwei Dao, no longer a forum member.

I'm really glad you got that screenshot, I was really dissapointed when that thread disappeared. Do you have a larger version you could upload to imgur.com or elsewhere, this forum resizes uploads pretty small. Do you have any other screenshots from that post?

There was a post on here regarding the stickers and how to check. I also had a peak under the black top cover to see if they had been rewrapped and with a potential old sticker scratched off. Mine seem to be genuine EVE cells and brand new, the capacity checks out. The noly thing im unable to accurately check is the IR
