Lishen 272AH thread?

Did a new test. Charged to 3.4v and discharged to 2,6v. Totall Ah was 541, so I'm happy
I just got one of those testers too. I found the voltage drop was .2 volts between the cell top and the terminals on the tester at 15 Amps. I was using # 12 wire. I had to set the low voltage disconnect at 2.4 to get the cell to discharge to 2.6.

Mine has that too.. But I don't have a low voltage disconnect at the tester, I leave that to the BMS.

@ 4:05 Will says will not work with LTO. Why the hell not? I don't care how long it takes if I can only test at 0.2C or whatever, and I'm not testing for thermal because that doesn't concern me, I ONLY want capacity out of my 6S3P LTO battery (40ah Yinlong cells). No LTO datasheet I have contraindicates a 0.2C load. What am I missing here?

Placed an order for these 272AH cells from Basen last week and received notification that they were shipped today 21st Dec to Australia. Getting excited.

Sweet! I too placed an order for these last week. How were you notified they shipped? I'm excited to get them and upgrade my battery.

BTW, what BMS are you going to use?

This was a bit of a dissapointment, test stopped at 501Ah.. My first test with four of these eight cells came out at 282 I believe.. So the problem must lay in the added cells.. This morning there was 15 millivolts difference between the cells, so not very much. Had to go to work so did not have time to investigate further.. I think i will have to redo the test with a computer connected to log the voltages and see when the problem arises.

I have measured the voltage drop across the bushbar at 50A charge rate, and it is 37mv.. Should that improve if I made new solid one piece bushbars from copper?

The end supports are 3d printed, I've made them myself.. 1,5cm thick with holes for threaded rod m6. I can share the files here if anyone is interested.View attachment 30259
I would like it if you can share the files for the end support brackets please.

I had a message from Emily, the person I had been dealing with.

As for the BMS, I am still trying to decide if I am going 12V or 24V. Possibly either Daly or HEYO.

I am trying to find clear info on the bus bar threads for these lishen 272Ah cells. I have searched the forum ans not found it. I was hoping it would be M6, but when I asked Xuba they responded M4. Thank you

I ordered 16 pcs of the Lishen 272 Ah cells today at Basen (dealed with Emily). Shipping to Germany by train will take a couple weeks (or months) but I don't need them during the winter anyway.
