I just got one of those testers too. I found the voltage drop was .2 volts between the cell top and the terminals on the tester at 15 Amps. I was using # 12 wire. I had to set the low voltage disconnect at 2.4 to get the cell to discharge to 2.6.Did a new test. Charged to 3.4v and discharged to 2,6v. Totall Ah was 541, so I'm happy
Mine has that too.. But I don't have a low voltage disconnect at the tester, I leave that to the BMS.I just got one of those testers too. I need those end caps. Any links?Mine has that too.. But I don't have a low voltage disconnect at the tester, I leave that to the BMS.
I can only find those testers in China on ebay. Any domestic links?Mine has that too.. But I don't have a low voltage disconnect at the tester, I leave that to the BMS.
While we're at it, what program is Will using to plot the procedure?
I like to know that too, I aks him on one of his video but did not get the reply to know what tester he uses for testing and plotting. While we're at it, what program is Will using to plot the procedure?
Sweet! I too placed an order for these last week. How were you notified they shipped? I'm excited to get them and upgrade my battery.Placed an order for these 272AH cells from Basen last week and received notification that they were shipped today 21st Dec to Australia. Getting excited.
I would like it if you can share the files for the end support brackets please. This was a bit of a dissapointment, test stopped at 501Ah.. My first test with four of these eight cells came out at 282 I believe.. So the problem must lay in the added cells.. This morning there was 15 millivolts difference between the cells, so not very much. Had to go to work so did not have time to investigate further.. I think i will have to redo the test with a computer connected to log the voltages and see when the problem arises.
I have measured the voltage drop across the bushbar at 50A charge rate, and it is 37mv.. Should that improve if I made new solid one piece bushbars from copper?
The end supports are 3d printed, I've made them myself.. 1,5cm thick with holes for threaded rod m6. I can share the files here if anyone is interested.View attachment 30259
I had a message from Emily, the person I had been dealing with.Sweet! I too placed an order for these last week. How were you notified they shipped? I'm excited to get them and upgrade my battery.
BTW, what BMS are you going to use?
Any chance you'd be willing to share the STL for these brackets?
