The way I see it is that I do not know any company that makes 320ah battery. Since there are none, then anyone selling a 320ah battery is lying. If they are selling 4 320ah [that are really 304ah at best] $222 shipped, then there is something not right. Even if they got the cells for free, I...

Before you send money, all the amounts are disclosed. How can that be fraudulent? If I go to the store and buy a TV, the price on the sales tag does not show tax. When I go to check out I have to pay a sales tax, is it fraud that I have to pay more? I can see that is may be fraudulent if...

So, you open a thread to bad mouth the Chinese for lying and cheating, then you say 'Opps never mind'. We all get a pit in our stomach when things do not go right but as I get older, I tend to wait till I can prove that someone is wrong before I start casting stones. If I were you, I would at...

I work on high end German cars and have for 40 years. At no time did any of the manufactures recommend to check the torque on the electrical connections every 6 months. High or low load circuits. Connections should be a set and forget. If you are having problems, then you have a design problem...

+PayPal fees. I do not use credit cards. Life is so much easier when you pay cash vs buying stuff on credit.
  • Post in thread: Beware @Michael B Caro

It's been proven so many times. The cheapest price is not always the best price. Until we all stop being so cheap, it's just a race to the bottom.

I'm glad that you were made whole again. Some have not. I just hope more people look into their habits and question every transaction before they put the cash down. Is it too good to be true? Like a poster above, there are 6.8% that would keep those sellers profitable. My father taught me at an...

We are talking a small amount of fees and when people complain about those fees, it's time to part ways. That is what I do as a business. I run my business for a profit and those profits allow me to pay my bills. I do not want any client that is a chiseler. I give them a quote and 99.9% they say...
  • Post in thread: JB Weld versus Loctite for grubscrews

Sorry to open up the older post but I have questioned why there is so little concern about a conductive stud. Sure, maybe a stud does not add much, but I cannot believe it does not add something. I'm too busy to do tests, but it would be curious if someone used a non conductive washer on the...

And I thought it was AWS that reversed the Amazon business model [losing money]. In the end, my wife had a small business and I had to work triple time to make certain everyone got paid. When the doors finally closed, I worked the same hours for a year to pay off the final small business loan...

Just saying, whiskey is nasty and marking it as cleaning alcohol would be a fair assessment. :)

18650 had a store on Aliexpress, it was a scam. You are correct that 18650 was a supplier. Docan may not be the cheapest but if you are looking for cheap, I would suggest you change your search parameters to reliable. Docan will be right up there on that list.

Open for 7 months is a long time? Price for 4 batteries, shipped, for <$100US. Take your rose tinted glasses off. Clear sign something is not right.
  • Post in thread: 32 310 ah Grade A Lifepo4 cells shipped free from China. TGTBT?

Seriously? You spent time opening an ad with prices that low and opened a thread asking if it is worth it?

Document other shipping/tracking numbers so you can show proof that the timestamps are the same. I had this happen to me. I use PayPal and did not go through AliExpress. No reason to waste my time with AliExpress, get declined, then go down the PayPal avenue. I sent 10 screen prints with 10...

If you elect not to buy insurance, get into a wreck, then complain about it, I find it funny that you elected not to look at your decision not to buy insurance. Maybe funny is not the right word, but certainly odd that you had the opportunity you elected not to take. To put it into context...
  • Post in thread: Renogy DC DC Charger w/ MPPT

I believe most people have problems with diagnosis when there is a ground problem because most are not even testing the ground circuit. At least, this is what I found with the 40 years working in the automotive industry. If people only looked at the ground circuit as important as the power...

Daisy is the person that facilitated my battery orders. You should be in good hands.

Brand new, full capacity, 4 day shipping once they were in stock in Houston. The first order, I got lucky and they got the shipment within a week of payment. So, I had the batteries less than 10 days. The second order, Daisy indicated they would not have them in Houston for a month or two. I got...

I only hope that people will learn from this and use this example on future decisions in life. I still believe that a lot of the problem is the buyer. Expecting that they can get a price half of what it cost the manufacturer to make it, is unrealistic. It's why the lottery system works so well...
  • Post in thread: Beware @Michael B Caro

There's blame to be passed around evenly. Buying because you are getting a good deal usually means you are taking some chances. There is a reason why a good business charges more. Those costs to run a good business [insurance] are passed down to the consumer. I would not take on the risks...

Why? Because there are so many ways to abuse the review process. You can purchase positive reviews and people that never have spent a dime with a company can submit negative reviews. I have no opinion with this 'fight' but when it comes to reviews, I can understand why a company does not allow...

Unless the person is dead, it's always worth getting what you are due. I'm certain I'm not the only only one that was in financial hot water [don't ever buy a flower shop, no matter what the wife says]. When I was in hot water, EVERYONE got a reply and EVERYONE got their money back. Maybe not...

Although I believe if you feel you are being scammed, you probably are, but what happens if you are not? Let's say you are not and get your money back and then the batteries do show up? It certainly would suck to the seller. I hate being wrong so I would wait until the very end. I would also ask...

I rarely ever lean towards lighter duty. I would rather see a item work at 60% to give you your needs vs 100%. Means nothing and it's all mental, I get it, but it still does not change my mine.
  • Post in thread: Beware of Docan Technologies (Issue Resolved)

Yeah, I too agree. I do not know what the policies are but if I was the owner or a mod, I would change the title of this tread. We all screw up and say stuff we regret but this is way over the top.
  • Post in thread: Beware of Docan Technologies (Issue Resolved)

Sure, but I think Docan should be removed off the title. Just my thoughts.
  • Post in thread: Our NEW GO-TO LiFePO4 vendor...09.20.21

With all the happy clients from Docan, why would you try and go anywhere else?
  • Post in thread: newbie questions, solar/lithium in a 5th wheel, where to start?

With having an 'all in one', what happens when that fails? Does it become 'all is none'? I would rather have individual components so when something fails, then it would be one component. Something to think about.
  • Post in thread: BATTERY SELLERS - THE GOOD, BAD, UGLY -- or Jenny (DOCAN) so far so good ...

I got my second order from Daisy [Docan] and like the others here that have ordered from Docan, everything went well. I ordered them a little more than a month ago and was waiting for them to get to the Houston warehouse. When they did, I got them a week or so after. I was expecting drilled...
