Just have a question for you Steve - why do you float at 27.5V (3.437vpc)? Looking at the charts you've posted that would be about 99-99.5% which seems pretty high in a working system that would be under load. Just curious as most of the info I've read shows others floating in the 26.8-27.2...

Thanks for the reply and info. I was planning on just using foam tape (which I saw in the breakdown of the SOK batteries). But it seems like most builds I read about are using epoxy sheets or the fiberglass mats you mentioned.

Thanks...I didn't know Andy had a video on them, so will have a look tonight. The 280K V3 is 5% cheaper than the 304 for me, so a bit of a tough call.

I'm currently debating between the LF304 and LF280K V3 - curious why you put the V3s as great over the others? Is there more info out there on them apart from the SFK video?

Do both the P- and B- cables coming from either side of the BMS (JK-B2A8S20P) in an 8S config need to be the same length?

I'm wondering what the advantages or disadvantages would be in using either of these in a DIY lifepo4 build? I'm building my own enclosure so either should work fine I think. First build so hoping I can get a little guidance...
