i use a simple relay on the output of my epever charge controller. when battery volt drops too low the SCC turns off the load which deenergizes the relay which kills power to low currant devices and removes the on signal for the large inverter.

The BMS's are 8S 100 Amp from Overkill solar. He is great out of Florida. Great warranty great service. He will customize the ends the way you want it. I got 2 8 AWG cable on both inputs and output that were 2 feet. It save another connection and hassle.

Why not 2 or 4 batteries with own bms for redundancy and maintenance. I have 3 24 volt batteries in parallel and can take any off line to balance or other and not take down the system.

It should not be a problem as I have a 180 amp hour lipo and a 280 amp hr connected for about a year now. The difference in resistance in batteries causes them to pull different currants. Even connecting them at different states of charge is fine. There is a surge currant at first them goes down.

I did the mod to my inverter for shut off. I use the relay on an epever charge controller for low voltage disconnect. The relay in the CC goes to a relay with high power contacts for some loads and the remote power switch. I have a simple switch to turn on the inverter with it.
