Hi all,

Complete newbie here looking for some help please. I am using a Raspberry Pi with Solar Assistant to monitor my system and was wondering if it is possible to force charge my Growatt battery via SA. Currently if I want to make changes to the charge times, I have to go into my attic to disconnect the Raspberry Pi, connect the Growatt wifi dongle, hope their servers are actually working, and then make the change before reinserting the Pi. This is not ideal, especially if I want to make last minute changes due to good weather being forecast. In an ideal world being able to connect both the Raspberry Pi and wifi dongle to the inverter (SPH3600) at the same time would be perfect, but there doesn’t seem to be an additional available port to do this.

Many thanks in advance for any help given.

I have 4 3000 watt 24 growatts with jbd bms's and it works great.
I can control everything in the inverters and control them. It can also read the batteries hi low and average cell volts.
I love the feature to switch to grid mode at a certain percentage instead of voltage.
I also use is to force feed the batteries from the grid to do active balancing between.

I change all of my settings through SolarAssistant.
Haven't physically touched the inverters in months.
