I just got my EG4 3000 up and running yesterday. Today I see I have an unhandled PV undervoltage alarm that I can't figure out how to clear and there is no data coming in showing my battery charging, although I can clearly see on the unit itself that it is.
How do I fix this?!

Is your array at least 120Voc?

Yes, its over 200v. It worked great all day yesterday. Last night, after the sun went down it decided that there wasn't enough PV voltage?!
The system is working fine, but the SmartESS app isn't working because it sees that alarm that isn't handled. At least that is my take of what I am seeing. 423454510_3576396262578424_5411571825708206866_n.jpg423568665_305489268811922_1899715070764211856_n.jpg

My datalogger went "offline" too today at 12.29 CET. It still reports as being online, but no data is uploaded to the SmartEss app or webinterface. Neither can it control the inverter anymore. It is listed as being online though ... Strange

Mine too.. and every other app using the same datasource (WatchPower from Voltronic.. DESSMONITOR.. ecc.). I believe their servers went down globally, the system is online, but the data is stuck at 12:22 CET.

My SolarPower app is doing the same thing as well.
I thought my MPPT had fried haha.
THANK GOD for this forum!

Any insight on the server issue or when it might be resolved?

Dunno, it happened other times and it resumed.. but never for so long.

PS: please stop suggesting that solar whatever app.. we're talking about a cloud (and free) solution that doesn't require any additional hardware, for monitoring purposes only it's quite great.

My low voltage alarm state stays each night until the next day when voltage resumes. Today the app was dead all day and so it was stuck in alarm state, I do see the app is back online but its after dark for me so the alarm state is still there until tomorrow.

Well.. I have a "LINE_FAIL" alarm since yesterday (when the server was offline), I've just noticed it.
Everything is OK on the inverter (it's currently producing and serving the home, and it's reading the output power fine), but I can't clear this error in the app, it's "unhandled". Anyone else has the same?

EDIT: i've managed to clear the error from the web interface (Dessmonitor). I believe this type of error doesn't clear automatically, it wants you to "handle" it. However all fine now.

EDIT2: and it died again at around 10:46 CET. :fp2

Solar Assistant is still working excellent.
I will always suggest greatness. 😉

Solar Assistant run local, I use Home Assistant for home automation (including the PV system) that is far superior than SA... and the software is free! :)

We're talking about something else here, a cloud system that is integrated with most off-grid inverters with no additional hardware to maintain, so that your SA or my Home Assistant are running fine, it's not much relevant to this thread. ;)

I agree. Get Solar Assistant.

If relying on SmartESS or similar apps, then you’re missing out on a lot. The reliability of Solar Assistant should be enough reason to switch.

Tell me more about this, Dessmonitor! I need to clear this alarm because the program isn't doing anything!
Nevermind, I found it and deleted the alert but it didn't make a difference. Either this program is wrong or the unit is showing me wrong info. I am going with the program is junk.
