I don’t mean forever just until November election…. They are trying to give the president some kind of extra power in the budget bills …. I can’t find what they are giving him for extra powers. I know Trump let Patriot Act die. They are trying to push out a patriot act 2.0 to replace it.
The kept saying something was a major concern few days back. They are gojng to do something. They don’t want to spend their time in prison.

there are data points here someplace, I can see how they may connect, and I can almost see why.
I can go on youtube an see very accurate brake downs of WWII battles, because we won and was
able to get very detailed documentations form both sides, that was not the case in both Korea, and
Vietnam. without that information all you are left with is "he said"/"she said" and spelled with a Q.
and when you learn to spell that way, everything becomes very simple. "it's their fault, they are the bad guys, Not my responsibility"

a lot of people would buy into that. if it only cost $50 from 3 million people to get the government out

Most people (at least the ones who are becoming the majority demographic), don't want to have this us vs them mentality, other defending others right to just be and exist. Of course there are others, that just want to control.

put you in jail, in 2024 they have signs. change is always messy, freedom is never free.
when females wanted the vote (very messy), they also made signs, once they got to vote the signs went away.
it took them 50 years.
I think a lot of that is going away soon, the most angry voices seem to be very old.
but I do get it, if not for my grandkids I too could be screaming at the sky.

I am happy for both you, and them, for that as well.
I could never sit in judgement on what John McCain may or may not have done to survive in that hell hole unless I had been there too or had a similar experience. I venture to say that anyone who has not had the experience can have no idea how they themselves would handle it, or what they would do to survive.
While those who were there with him may have been critical of how he handled himself, that doesn't give you [or anyone else] license to do the same unless you spent some time in his shoes, but that's just my opinion.
