207kWh System... In 12V??? šŸ˜¬

EG4 PowerPro: 280AH @ 51.2v = $3431
Battleborn GC3: 270Ah @ 51.2v = $9996

And the EG4 is less likely to have balancing issues....and the EG4 has UL9540 certification and is actually legal in California, the state this was installed in.

Meeeeooowwwwā€¦ā€¦Geeeez guysā€¦come onā€¦.its still America, ..I wouldnā€™t have done it quite the same way he did it either, but he had a grand vision, went after it ,and succeeded wonderfullyā€¦..

His Wayā€¦.

I say we need more Americans with that spirit today..
I say Hats Off to the young fellaā€¦.šŸ‘

It's not the first suspicious battleborn install I've seen on youtube. They're really leading a lot of beginners down the wrong path with their nonsense.

If they would at least do something like Victron and offer 12v packs that can be assembled into a balancing series that would be one thing, but they're just out their recommending beginners put packs in series and then hope they stay balanced by luck.

The dude in the red jacket is a doppelganger of "nomadic fanatic" on YouTube. I thought he started a different business there for a second. This system is majestic.....

Imagine in 10 years what people will think of 2024 prices of server rack builds and costs compared to whatā€™s down the road.

Maybe I am a bit jealous of the MT pole mounts and the REC Alphas, with that budget id have twice as many.

Holy cow, where do we start...

$149,000 of batteries... are they unaware of other options on the market today? 12V batteries in series? Yikes...
Definitely not what I would use for batteries.
You would think someone in the industry would know better.

My biggest question is what does ā€œ Surfer dudeā€ do for a living to afford all that?
