Incompetence from Signature Solar & Solar Sovereign

So cancel the order and go somewhere else. But if there is nowhere else to go, then deal with it.

I mean sure, everybody can wish all they want but I find more joy in accepting reality. If Signature was a more premium retailer they'd charge more premium pricing, and that's not what we want. The truth is we want it this way.
Just to be factual I have placed many orders over the last 1-1/2 years. I haven't always received shipment notice or even knew it was on the way. I would be surprised when the shipping company would contact me to say they are going to deliver that day or the next. All orders from Texas arrived in Florida under 30 days. This includes batteries, inverters, and two different orders of panels. There was no other place in the USA that I could find to match the price for the equipment. So in short my purchasing experience has been satisfactory.

Now on the service side it was like dealing with China. Nothing was ever completed. Multiple calls and emails and nothing was ever resolved. They didn't send replacement parts as promised (HUB with backlight issue). And never gave clear advice about battery's with severely unbalanced cells. Fast to point out what I couldn't do or I would voice the warranty. This forum helped me with those answers.

So it was like getting Chinese equipment at Chinees prices and Chinese service with faster delivery. As a DIY person I would rather have the low prices and hope that they improve communication and service. They will stay in business as long as they offer their equipment at a low price.

Just telling it like it is.

You must have a pretty good experience with Chinese service!!
Normally they don't even answer my emails at all.
Not sure what's worse being given the run around or just ignored entirely.

Sales and Delivery under 30 days but Customer service non existent. I just got the run-a-round. "This forum helped me with those answers" I am just telling you my experience. Sounds like they need real competition for the true Capitalistic way.

You guys have took a hit from the tv News I have seen…Wow …..I was in key west in 82 when tropical storm dumped 2 ft of rain in one day on the island ….floated cars out to sea, 3 ft of water in the Holiday Inn I was at… they moved everyone to the second floor and had a free rooms and open bar for everyone till the water subsided…
Hope y’all fare well in the coming times In Fla….
Spent a lot of time up and down the keys in the good old days… it was amazing times.

I've been heavily marketed to, over countless years..

The hurricanes haven't even fired up yet. Gulf so warm sends these waves our way. This is exactly why I got into solar. Started as backup with benefits. This will give us power while in the middle of the event. The one just left and the next one is brewing.

Going through this thread -- the kicker for me is who the hell uses a debit card online? (or really anywhere) So many drawbacks and zero protections should things go sideways.

Or even for day to day stuff -- the only time you should be using a debit card is when you are getting cash from an ATM. I did laugh at the 30 day rule that kept getting thrown around. Mostly because there are some goods/companies that simply do not apply to.

Every now and then I'll order something that might take 6 months or even a year to actually arrive at my house. (custom yet to be produced things) And god help you if you are trying to buy certain auto parts off suppliers sites that never have (and never will) accurate stock information.

Hell I'm 1.5 hours from Signature Solar's facility, and it still took probably 2+ weeks for freight service to get lined up and scheduled/delivered.

Nobody wants to stock inventory anymore. There is a few things on AliExpress I would like to order but by the time I pay shipping and tax and wait 3+ months it isn't worth it.

I do like the fact if I order off Ali I get it in a week most of the time

And one more thing since you called me a "nuclear Karen" (I guess I need to live up to that reputation now).

What if you were in a situation like my friend - who doesn't have any solar right now - and is getting pretty concerned about the fact that China is threatening to invade Taiwan on a daily basis and Russia is threatening to nuke somebody on a daily basis? Would you be a little concerned about the possibility that something might happen in the next 45 days to this shipment of batteries - which are almost certainly coming from Asia?

There are a lot of companies that sell this stuff. If I had no solar whatsoever, I'd be doing whatever it took to get things squared away ASAP... and that does not include waiting 45 days to hopefully get my entire solar system shipped in from a company that doesn't have the courtesy to contact me when there's a problem with shipping out my order.
There is an easy solution now that Russian Navy has travelled to Cuba. I am old enough to remember watching President Kennedy on TV addressing the nation about the Cuban missile crisis and his decision to blockade Cuba.

Today, it seems rather simple: The US negotiates with Xi Jinping that he can have Taiwan all to himself in 10 years without any US military response. In the 10 year period of time, all those on Taiwan who desire, can emigrate to North America, Australia, Western Europe or elsewhere and be greenlighted to work and a path to citizenship. They bring their education and technical expertise with them and we already know they love democracy. Xi also agrees to stop aiding Iran.

Then, in exchange, the US is free to invade and take over Cuba and push out the Castro organized crime unit and install a new democratic government and also makes Cuba a U.S. territory like the Virgin Islands. Have Cuba become a US territory would be great for tourism and security in the USA as well as bring great joy to South Florida and make the lives of Cubans better in every way. Then, in the future they can vote for statehood. Any Cubans who want to flee the country can go right to Iran or Russia.

Lastly, there is Putin, without China needing his help over Taiwan, he is isolated to fight his Ukraine war and will be prevented by the current coalition from ever gaining territory with access to the sea. Russia, Iran and North Korea get further isolated.

The issue is not that they were out of stock on some items. That happens all the time... contact the customer and give them the option of another product or a refund. That's "business 101"... and if that happened I wouldn't have had a problem.. and certainly wouldn't have wasted my time in typing all this up.
and here is the actual crux of the issue... all of our time is valuable, many supposed business people try to treat us like our time is worthless.

that's one of the things that spins me up and makes me hire lawyers.... people blatantly wasting my time.

Nobody is going to thank you for anything, people like you who cant deal with a little adversity and immediately go nuclear is why there are so many Karens in our society. Take a poll from all customers of SS and it will overwhelming positive for the prices and products they offer. Everyone knows the situation going in with them and if you want the immediate responses from the big corporate retailers then go buy from them and pay 2 to 3 more the cost.
talk about the pot calling the kettle black.... dude you read a thread and call him a karen? Wow.... you just did what you are complaining about...

Goodby Karen

This is interesting. Here is a RUiXU Lithi2-16 314Ah/16.07kWh battery with "Solar Sovereign" mentioned in the description but being sold by SpaceSolar Shop for 2/3's the price. Something doesn't look right here. I did a test buy via paypal and they don't have a paypal account and their main email contact@spacesolar.shop didn't work. BEWARE
