SOK batteries shipping or was Will lied to?

I placed an order for 4 12V 200AH SOK batteries almost 2 weeks ago when Will posted a YT video saying they were in stock. I got an email saying they got my order and almost two weeks has gone by and absolute silence. I emailed sales@sokbattery.com and got no response at all.

This is beyond unprofessional and I'm right now on the verge of calling my Credit Card company to get this "relationship" severed.

Has anyone else who bought batteries after that video heard anything at all?

As I recall, when SOK was taking orders recently, they specifically stated that the batteries were in stock and they would ship in mid-May. So you shouldn't start to worry for at least two or three more weeks.
 
My first order was the FIRST batch-placed march 16th- The shipping date was changed 2-3 times -ALSO THEY stated IN HOUSE !- lie- Then got excuses that there shipping guy was out with problems yada yada yada- come April 18th I cancelled- A month to ship and or build? when they say IN HOUSE-no thanks---out my CC foreign exchange charge.. That is just my story. Thanks

That's exactly what I feared. I'll give this until Monday and then I'll be canceling. There is absolutely no reason to lie when you don't have something other than you think you can profit sitting on other peoples money. Fk that. Not responding to email speaks volumes.

If you get on the facebook sok group, they have been replying to everyone. Think my email said May 10th shipment would start, they also stated this prior to ordering on April 18th so I knew going in it would be a month before I got my battery.

I ordered mine around March 16th (?) when Will said they were in stock (2-100ah). I did not have any problems emailing them at that address you showed and although I thought they had them in stock, I just recevied them last week.

Interesting. 6 weeks lead time for an "in-stock" item. Glad you got them.

I emailed them to cancel my order, and they promptly refunded my CC charge, might try that first. I ordered on 3/19, and had shipping promises moved back 3 times. I thought it strange they had a Feb batch missing in Kansas, couldn’t deliver Mar batteries, and were taking orders in Apr. I punted.
 
I only use Facebook to follow specialised groups. It has largely taken over the old role of Yahoo Groups and Listserv Lists because it's a significant improvement over e-mail as a method of communication. Out of curiosity, and because I might purchase a SOK battery, I just joined the SOK Facebook Group. Unlike many groups, the wait time to join was just a minute or two. In other words, it looks like membership isn't being controlled and is open to anyone. It appears to be a very good resource for SOK owners. Also, there are third party SOK vendors participating. People are reporting receiving their batteries, and it looks like ordering will open again in the latter half of May.

One thing that's clear is that some of the assertions/insinuations in this thread are rubbish. As a potential purchaser of a SOK battery, I'll be paying a lot more attention to that group than to this thread.

It took almost a month to get mine, be patient. They should be coming soon.
 
Bought 2 of them a month apart, both delivered in an acceptable time frame that was consistent with what was stated by both SOK and Will.
