Beginner needs some help. I just swapped 3 AGMs for 3 SOK 100ah LifePO4 batteries in my 5th wheel. I have 2 160w solar panels and a Samlex charge controller. When I installed the batteries I also installed a victron smart shunt.

I think the batteries were fully charged yesterday. The trailer was in the sun all day and the shunt was reading 13.2 volts.

Overnight we had a MAXAIRR fan running, not much else. When I woke up this morning and checked the victron connect app it read 45ah consumed but my voltage was 11.8.

Any idea what is going on there? I should still be at 13+ volts only consuming 45 of 300ah shouldn't I?

Post a picture of how the batteries and the shunt are all connected.

Use a volt meter and measure the voltage of each battery and post the results.

Also make sure your SCC is setup to charge LiFePO4 batteries.

Also note that 13.2V is roughly only 70% SOC for LiFePO4 batteries if that is the resting voltage while not under load. 11.8V is about 9% SOC. Running a fan certainly should not have drained the batteries that much.

13.2 on my charge controller means its bulk charging, eg the batteries are at 50-80%.

Most lifpos are shipped at 30% charge.

That means they need 200ah of charge to be at 100%. If your panels put out their max rated 310 watts, it would take roughly 8 hours.

If you use power or have anything running, thats gonna extend the time. You'll probably need 2 days of no power use to fully top those batteries.

11.8 makes sense if your panels didn't capture that much power
