Thanks for the update. I went to shopsolarkits website a little while ago and do *NOT* see the 'p' model. It shows just the regular EB200. So I must have the early bad model. I will double check tomorrow. It is in my she shed. It is late and I am getting tired. Sorry to hear they are treating you so badly with you having to spend so much time showing them the incorrect ad. Trust me when I say I think a lot of these companies, and people under 30, treat us as less than an inconvenience. We are often ignored. This Memaw is getting very frustrated with it. They don't think twice that our money is just as green and that we may actually know a thing or two about life, even if it isn't to do with tech. Some of us are actually trying to learn and be more off grid independent. That is what drew us to this forum as well as videos. I would be elated if the local extension service via the local college or USDA, would teach about portable power stations and so called plug and play all in one systems *in person* as well as a video library of those classes for us to refer to if we wanted to. This is a niche market for those who would be willing to give in person demo classes with no agenda to sell anything or one brand over another. That means someone who actually wants to help people like you and me. It would be a calling for sure. Charge a nominal fee if need be, say $$15 or $20 to offset her or his gas and time. It could be a monthly thing of the same class if enough interest was there. We were not raised on social media, video games and smart phones attached to our hands. We actually have social skills that require face to face interaction in the same room with people from all walks of life. That is much different than virtual reality of them broadcasting thru a camera via youtube or other such 'social' media. Customer service and empathy very rarely exist in the form we as a society lived in until just the last 20+ years or so. NOtech, I stand with you in your frustration and yet desire to help yourself during power outages.Bluetti didn't ship it, shop solar kits did. The *only* EB200 they sell is the one they sent me. Photos and specs on the product page showed the *EB200P*, which they do not have. By the specs of one they sent me, it looks like one of the early units they made when they switched to Lifepo4. Only 2000wh/2000/2500 surge.
I started the return immediately. It was very frustrating, because I am a disabled senior with little strength. I'm thinking, how dare they put this shit on me? They weren't very remorseful about advertising the wrong product. Took half the conversation to SHOW them the ad is not correct, after continually claiming I was wrong. That became charge back time for me if they didn't fix it.
The earlier lifepo4 switch by bluetti had multiple problems, from the section with the batteries being sketchy hardware, to limited software to optimize them. No thank you ??
They are supposed to send me the AC200max as the replacement (which I gave my CC for) and refund the EB200 when they receive it.
They said they will correct the ad. I will hold them to it.
You have no idea sweetie. I got the AC200MAX to replace it, and it showed up with a noname 400w charger, when it was cleared AHEAD of the order that it comes with the T-500 charger. ? I put in a request to send the T-500 and a return label for the Chinese noname 400w charger. If I wanted noname electronics, I would have purchased on AliExpress ??Thanks for the update. I'm sorry you are having problems like that. I don't know anything about that site but I did notice that they are using my Youtube video on their product page lol. Can they not be bothered to produce their own video?WOW. Shopsolarkits.com is a scam site after all. Here is their reply to receiving the wrong charger, not the one advertised on the ad on their site, which is still up. Bait and switch on Bluetti drop ships.
SSK/ My reply
Let the games begin ?

So, what ever happened to this, did they ever get back to you with the correct stuff?
I am so confused at what they did to you, I'm looking and your reply came up in a search on Google, this looks to be some very serious stuff.
Hopefully they did you right in the end, but if you walk away, I sure understand. It has me scared to think about buying ANY Bluetti now.
Good luck to all of us.
Bait and switch has never been a good thing. SSK has done more damage to itself in your one transaction than they know. They are still working on it, but they have to find a T-500. Apparently, SSK doesn't stock a damn thing. They weren't aware that Bluetti changed it's specs for their units in early April. They tried to pass off the problem to me ? If they don't send the T-500, it will be a charge back or return of the entire kit. Vendors are out of their mind thinking they can make it my problem. That will never happen.
I would caution anyone who buys from any seller that is nothing more than a drop shipper of Bluetti's, to verify the specs. Bluetti is cranking out about 5+ models, all with the same model #, but components are a crap shoot. It like like they are mix/matching whatever they feel like.

300w is a drop in the bucket compared to the AC200max. Basically, what can it power besides a few led lights, a laptop or recharge a phone?I bought lipower PA300 for the low price of $186.99 and it looks good so far. https://lipowershop.com/products/lipower-portable-power-station-300w-296wh
These smaller units are very mobile. Nobody luggage a bulky AC200 around.300w is a drop in the bucket compared to the AC200max. Basically, what can it power besides a few led lights, a laptop or recharge a phone?
No thanks.
I will for sure ? Shit happens with online orders, but to try to convince me the switch to inferior parts was acceptable, was about as rude as you can get when I have spent over $3k with them in the past 12 months. Eye opening for sure to watch out for resellers with no warehouse, just drop ships from manufacturer and their choice in what to send, based on nothing to do with me. This is why I screen shot specs on the purchase page. Unacceptable.Bait and switch has never been a good thing. SSK has done more damage to itself in your one transaction than they know.
Will you please let us all know what happened, you could save more people from what you had to go through?
Thanks for the reply, and I REALLY hope that you get this 'finished', whatever it takes, I know that bad taste you must have, it's not a good one.
Thanks for offering in person training. That is very nice of you. I live in Florida though. I appreciate your also playing the role of peace maker in another thread. I can't say too much as one of my important posts was deleted.I'm sorry you are having problems like that. I don't know anything about that site but I did notice that they are using my Youtube video on their product page lol. Can they not be bothered to produce their own video?
If you guys are in the Dallas area I would be happy to meet up with you and do some hands on. Or you can come to my shop/warehouse any time.
Yes, screen shots are my friend as well. Sometimes I forget to take them and it has come back to haunt me as it turns out to be a he said she said.I will for sure ? Totally agree with this. Bluetti is flooding the market with all of these seemingly near same models as well as newer ones before they even work out the bugs in the first batch from 2020. From what I have recently learned, Maxoak is a separate company that sells units to Bluetti and Bluetti puts their logo on it. So in my mind, it is too many hands in the pot of soup, so to speak. They are still working on it, but they have to find a T-500. Apparently, SSK doesn't stock a damn thing. I tried asking shopsolarkits if they knew of any issues that the EB200 may have as it seems it was built when the problematic AC200 and AC200p came out as my screen shows 2020 for the year. They didn't know of that, or the EB200"p" model until I emailed a screen shot of it from amazon. I wanted to know if the "p" model was the corrected version of the non "p" model they sell. So I told them I would try to reach out to Bluetti and get back to them with their response and in the meantime, I ran some tests on my unit. Well Bluetti public FB page was where I reached out. There were major issues with lost in translation. After numerous back and forth messages and actually having to spell out I had the E as in elephant and B as in boy (yes, I said it just like that to them) and NOT AC, they said to talk to the seller. Prior to using the elephant and boy words, they understood it as me having the AC200 and said it was their crowd funding version. Waste of time. Oh, and I still haven't heard back from shopsolar kits either.
Hey I have screen shots for you. Just let me know date of purchase. It should be the same as what I ordered, because they said that is the only EB200 that they have *ever* had. They never had the upgraded P version, yet their ad said otherwise.Yes, screen shots are my friend as well. Sometimes I forget to take them and it has come back to haunt me as it turns out to be a he said she said.
