Hi there Im in the planning stages of installing solar panels on my seasonal crawfish restaurant were open February-July 7 days. Was going to do it 2 phase, total system will be 24kw, at first phase I will use the following. Im license general contractor , with active trade in access control, gate operators and key pads, prox reader etc. I have a license electrician to help with the install but he has never installed a solar system before and he wants to help me. But i needed to do the research on the grid tie inverter
1st Phase
2 EG6000ex-48hv split phase units, off grid units
22 550 watt bi-facial panels (installed on roof top, on tilt on metal white panel roof)
2 200 amp 48volt LIFEp04 battery
2nd phase
1 Eg600ex-48hv
22 550 watt bi facial panels(installed on the roof top, on tilt on metal white panel roof)
1 200amp 48 LIFEp04 battery
1 8kw grid tie inverter (only if this can be tied to the above system)
My question is we are only open Monday through Friday through 4-8pm Saturday 2-8 Sunday 3-7, for 5 1/2 months the other 6 1/2 months were open 4 days week 4-8pm. So its not a full load all day, but in May, June, July, is my most used months for electricity due to the ac units and walk in cooler load do to the hot climate in Louisiana. In Phase 2, I would like to tie in 8kw -10kw grid tie inverter and 1 more eg600ex-48. So I can sell back to the grid once the batteries are charged because we use most of the load between 3pm-9pm. So batteries will be charged by 12 or 1 pm during the day , and in the offseason i will have plenty of electricity to sell back to the grid. So is this possible to do with what I mention or do I need a whole grid tie inverter for the 24kw system. Should i use a different brand for the off grid inverters and what brand should I use on grid tire .Any advice will be helpfully
Thanks
