Hello All ,

I am having a 5KW Grid Tie inverter .I am planning to install with 10 numbers of 540WP panels .I heard that instead of going directly on a series connection ,going for 1 in out connection will be cost effective .
Connection - Taking all series connection to DCDB box and from there taking 2 outputs and inserting in to each MPPT.
Had anyone done this type of configuration .
My unit make is Deye inverter.
Kindly please help me out ..

Have you verified the max input voltage rating of your MPPT??
540Wp (2x72 cells) panels have around ~50 Voc.
Ten of them in series (~500V) might exceed your MPPT rating.

But, assuming it does, you can indeed configure MPPT's to run in parallel with one 10S PV input.
