Gobel power has always listed their cells by their proper names..
I would consider them a Chinese supplier.

They are also maintaining the QR database that the QR reader app is using

It appears that a set of 16 pcs of EVE 280ah cells is $1,929. plus shipping and the factory tests are available. 8,000 cycle life.

Can’t any company create an alibaba store front? I can’t say I’d trust one labeling itself Eve vs any other one.

I thought manufacturers all used brokers. Why not buy direct. Thanks. They have test reports available.
I think you'll find it hard to order anything below 250 cells .
Tried using the direct sales 2 years ago, and kind of got this response.
Would be interesting to find out if that changed

50? more like 4 pcs.

I have been chatting with docan recently about getting some more cells shipped, they have ganfeng 280 @80$ and REPT 280 @ 88 usd/cell, seems not bad (+delivery from china)
Same, with Amy Zhang. I ordered Qty. 50 of the REPT 280Ah cells. I plan on making a post after they arrive and some cycle tests. These cells are going to expire from calendar aging and better technology than before the cycle capacity expires, so why buy the "premium"? As long as they stay balanced and resistance is matched, buy the cheapest. IMO.

REPT and ganfeng are descent cells..
Ganfeng is used in just about all server rack batteries ( eg4, SOK and many more)

You should be good with either

Good to know. I've never heard of Ganfeng, and didn't get a quote for those. I looked at everything I could find on youtube and forums for the REPT 280s, and scratched my head trying to figure out what I was missing. They seem like an amazing value, and guaranteed to be over 280Ah capacity. Seems to be a killer deal for just under $100.00 / cell delivered to my door, but I will refrain from more speculation until mine actually come in and the truth is known. As I said, I plan to make a full post on them.

Do these have the hexagonal terminals indicating version 3? Apparently some bad batches out there of older 280 cells based on posts here?

where are you located you come out to be about 120+20+6 = $146.00 ALL usa vendors with test reports on grade A with QR code are either lower or very close to this.

Only applies if you are in the US probably a valid deal outside.

If they are the same as my rept280, they are not that well matched at the very top and bottom of the cycle. Good enough for $100 to your door though.
I would by more at that price if I needed more, plus a couple of spares.

That's a fair price as it includes the vat I just had a RC turbine serviced from the AMT Netherlands had to pay 21% on the repair ?, I also hear that EU is starting to clamp down form shipments form China that try to skirt around the VAT.

So yeah as this LFP thing gets more popular, more local options will appear, as much as I don't like the Alibaba sellers they will keep local sellers inline and stop them from going berserk with prices.

Hey, vat is here 21% , and that doesn't include import duties for the rest of us..

The reason that I started looking into the envision cells is that they are about to open a huge plant in Hungary..
No import issues, no extra vat, eu warranty rules, and local delivery within a day.

CATL has opened up a huge plant in Germany too..
But CATL simply doesn't sell automotive grade to end customers, so no sense in looking into those, as the Chinese CATL cells are a whole lot cheaper anyway

What needs to happen is energy producers need to get together and buy from CATL as a single large entity and maybe then they will deal. I hear CATL wants a million cell contract or some ridiculously high number.

Yeah man EU taxes are nuts, but at least ya'll have health care...
