EVE LF280K 16S JK B2A24S15P-CAN

I have placed a order for EVE LF280K and JK B2A24S15P so i was happy to find this tread. Can anyone share the dimension on the wires on JK B2A24S15P? I need know so i can order correct Copper Terminals.

Battery box is almost finish, waiting for epoxy to cure to retouch brushed, in 2 days should be able to put cells inside.

Material Aluminium AW5083-H111, compression sides are 8mm the remain 4mm, since I won't move it bottom and front don't need to be thick.

Finally box is ready and cells inside.

Initial plan was to put BMS inside but it will be glue outside to extended Bluetooth range and also keep cells cooler.

Today reach full charge, it's already discharging this is what they have now 0.013V

Still not fully charged. If you want to really want know how balanced cells are need to push total voltage to 55-56V. Most full time active balancers are set not to activate when cell voltages are less than 3.4V
 
I don't have much luck but this weekend a friend bought me some fuse holders and this is what I found inside, going to replace all my ANL holders and fuses with those and now I have 6 x 125A Class T fuses ?

Already have 1 fuse holder clean and drying next will be fuses.

All cells charged and first cell discharged.

The value of 3.5V for each serial cell was too optimistic, 1 cell arrived to 3,7V and the other to 3,8V both were from day 9 so probably the ones that measure 3,290V and had an higher storage capacity.

This first cell measure 266,3Ah, only used 6mm cables that lose 20W/h divided by 3.2V give 6,25Ah so total will be 272,55Ah, don't know if this is normal my LF105 measure total capacity with same conditions.

Forget what the QR code says, can you get the EVE testing report for that same cell that tested 266.3AH?
You can ask NKON for it, look attached for example.

You can ask NKON for it, look attached for example.
I ask them for the LF105 and they didn't send it and I decide to not waste time asking again, the 266.3Ah was because the electronic load has a bug in the software, I measure some cells after and I got the 280Ah.

I'm waiting for summer when I will produce extra energy and will stop one battery at time and measure the cells that are higher and lower.

Ok thanks, so do you recommend those 280K grade A fron Nkon? or should I look into another manufacturer? I keep reading that the 280K is having issues even if grade A

I recommend NKon and the LF280K if I could I would sell my 32 x LF105 and buy another 16 x 280K, everyday I fully discharge my batteries and the cells are very stable the only one I have running is number 7 because by mistake I skip it when giving the final torque, so good cells are important but also how you connect them.

When I can I will top balance the number 7.

Some grade A 280K test, again disappointing, for the price I would have expected much better! I'll wait to see what Delphinus gets but it seems he too has some issues :(

So you can see Grade A 280K barely makes 280AH and but it makes about 900WH so barely meeting spec...

I've seen Andy test LF280K cells a lot with the ZKE EBC-A40L tester and often the results showed 280Ah or more.

A parameter which is not given in all these tests carried out by forum members is what was the temperature of the cells during the test?
The ideal temperature should be 25°C.

I myself have new grade A LF280K cells from Luyuan with tests report, I have not used or tested them yet. Maybe I should buy a ZKE to do it...

I just tested a Luyuan Tech 16S LF280K v2 grade A pack. I tested the full pack but not the individual cells.

Here is the report provided by Amy Wan.

The testing procedure is as follows:
  1. Charge and balance at 3.45v/cell
  2. Charge at 3.55v/cell
  3. Discharge (2440W for 6h) and stop as soon as a cell reaches 2.7V (I don't want to go too low)
An electric heater was near the battery, the battery temperature was 17°C at the start of the test and 22°C at the end of the test (shunt temp sensor).

JK-BMS, Junctek Shunt and Deye inverter were monitored in Home Assistant (lots of graphics available if you want).

Here are the shunt results:
  • Total Ah: 279.24Ah
  • Total kWh: 14.360 kWh ( 897.5Wh/cell )
It is cell 6 which arrives first at 2.7v.
I therefore conclude that the cells are all 280Ah and more.

Personally, I'm satisfied with the result even if it is far from the test report provided by Amy (I don't know where these data come from?).

PS: I will soon receive LF280K v3 grade A

Good to hear. Doubt I’ll do more than check voltage, internal resistance before installing in the future.

Yes that's the only thing I did when I received the cells but I don't have time to test it individually.
