Show Me Pics of your 18kPv or 6kXP set ups

Mine is a bit unconventional. I’m using a EV battery (~380vDC) to feed a 6kXP via the PV inputs. The AC then feeds two SMPS that converts AC to 110vDC and charges two Ecoflow Delta Pro via their Solar input. The Ecoflows run the house via an interlock breaker on my main panel. This gives me the option to use the car or a gas inverter generator. Overall, It’s really a giant conversion device with a lot of inefficiencies, but it’s a big experiment right now.

My first system, "under construction".
Waiting on another Power Pro battery.
Also have 6 of my 20 Canadian Solar 400w panels mounted so far.

I have some nice camera gear, just not the eg4 equipment.
Send me equipment and I’ll take install pics! 🤣

I would love to see Pics of anyones set up for the 18kPV or the 6kXP. All the different setups and configurations.

I’ll Start this is my setup
This is just the thread I need for ideas as my 18kpvand 2x batteries just arrived. Thanks to all!

I have a Meanwell 20 amp 5 volt power supply directly off main busbars supplying
an old router on DRT and 2 Raspberry's running Solar-assistant and Node Red.
Have a mini inverter above the 18Kpv (750 watt) spinning a small recirc pump recirculating
water thru an electric tankless and then thru a 40 gal storage tank at a variable rate to control the dump load.
also ran a 1/2" sheet of plywood under 5/8 type X (fire rated) drywall to make it easy to mount stuff.
also have a fairly generic battery operated remote sounding fire alarm (3 pack if any goes off all of them go off)
Code compliant with NO pv disconnects in San Luis Obispo county ( RSD takes the place of the disconnects)
3 arrays of 10 Qcell 400W

work in progress -- but functional and been putting it through it's paces the past 2 weeks. Ideally I'd have put the transfer switch right above the 2nd battery, but my main breaker panel is right on the other side (outdoors). Ran two conduits through the wall into the back of the transfer switch, one for grid AC feeding inverter and one for various transfer circuits.

two PV input circuits come in via conduit to the back side of battery conduit box 1, overall very pleased with how clean/hidden everything is, stud mounted and secure :)

yes, from the pic it looks like the transfer box is crooked, I can assure you it's not, the wall behind it has a bit of slant out on one side (yay crappy 70's construction)

Addition: I wasn't super pleased with how close the exhaust (no other options really) on the 6000xp is next to the wall, kept an eye on it, it's cool and quiet, but will probably be 3d printing a shroud to affix so that the exhaust flows straight out into the open.

oooo I got a like from the man himself -- thanks Will! Your videos are what got me here and playing with these fun toys. :)
