Unfortunately, it appears that closed-loop communication isn't possible with the Battery Evo Kong Elite batteries. You can set the 18kpv to lead acid mode, which will allow it to charge based on voltage rather than SOC %.

As long as you can achieve at least 120V for the MPPT to operate, you're all set. However, keep in mind that shading can affect performance, so it's best to aim for a voltage higher than 120V to ensure reliable operation.
