Change 12V to 24V Victron MPPT

Ok guys I'm here with another question! I just changed my battery bank from 12v to 24v because I just bought a 24v Victron Multi plus II. I went into my Victron app and changed the setting from 12 to 24v, but it still reads 13.18v on the app and on the charge controller. But when I put my meter...

    Battery Balancer 24V System

I have 4 lithium SOK 280 AH, I was planning on hooking the 4 batteries in a 24V system. With 4 batteries I will have 2 series connections(- to +). With only 1 "common" connection on the battery balancer. Does it matter which series connection I hook it to? Or will I need a second balancer? The...

    Need to upgrade help!

Thank you guys for all your help! But now that I'm going to get a new inverter (Victron MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-50 120V) with it's own charger, what type of wire is best to use from my portable generator (3500) to the charger (I believe a 70a)?

    Need to upgrade help!

Well I bought a Victron MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-50 120V (UL) to move forward with my project. So that leads me to what could be the dumbest question of all. Will this fuse work between my 24v inverter and my battery bank? 4 - SOK 12v 280amp batteries? I have used it in 12v applications before.

    Need to upgrade help!

I was considering those panels because they were 300w but also 18.2V. Inexpensive and a smaller foot print than the setup I have now. The link you sent me below is helpful thank you!

    Need to upgrade help!

I see, yes that would be an option. Thank you! Also, the panels I was looking at above, are 300W. 6 would give me 1800W. With a new 24V inverter and my new 4 - SOK 12V 280Ah lithium Batt. should work also?? Am I correct?

    Need to upgrade help!

The 2 panels to the right go to my solar freezer. They will be moved to a different location. The 6 panels to the right I am currently using. But I would like to replace them with more power. I really hate to replace the CC. But I am willing to get another inverter. Oh, The solar stand the...

    Need to upgrade help!

I will invest in a 24V inverter now. Then I can go to 2000W? Hook all 4 batteries in series to 24V. Keep the panels at 24V that way I can keep the amps down. Do you think that should open me up to more options for larger panels?

    Need to upgrade help!

I am not going to add panels. I'm going to use the old ones for a different project. I would rather buy a 24V inverter if that would help? And go 24V for the whole system.
  26. B

    Need to upgrade help!

I was planning to go fully 24V in the future. My panels are currently hooked up at 24V, but the batteries are not because of my inverter. I did see the CC could handle 2000W. But I'm am not sure if that means my panels at 24V or the batteries?? If its the batteries, maybe I can move up to a 24V...

    400W 12V Solar Panel 20"X 26"

Hello! I have looking at these 400W 12v panels on eBay. They are hard frame panels that are 20"X 26". I didn't know they made panels that small that put out 400W. Can somebody tell me if they do or is this some false advertising? Thank you! https://www.ebay.com/itm/374880460538
