Battery Balancer 24V System

I have 4 lithium SOK 280 AH, I was planning on hooking the 4 batteries in a 24V system. With 4 batteries I will have 2 series connections(- to +). With only 1 "common" connection on the battery balancer. Does it matter which series connection I hook it to? Or will I need a second balancer?
The battery balancer only has 3 connections (24V-Common-0V).
But then I found this diagram of a 24V system using 4 12V batteries. Will this solve my problem?

Yes
This configuration only requires one balancer.
The other would require two.
