Go to eg4electronics.com/downloads - Download the LP4 firmware file and extract the file - Follow the instructions on the "README" file to update the firmware. Also, you will need a read/write cable that can be found here if you do not currently have one...

Gotcha. If they are functioning with both switches down, it's probably best to leave it that way. Also, it sounds like the other 4 batteries need to be updated to the newest firmware version.

They need to be in the "Up" position. The picture in the manual is just showing how the unit comes when shipped.

Sorry, I misunderstood. It might be best to try and reflash the firmware. If that doesn't work, send an email to tech@signaturesolar.com so they can get a look at everything in detail.

The hub is only compatible with LP4 batteries.

The setting was removed with the latest firmware update as the unit is only meant for off-grid use. However, it is possible that EG4 has plans to make the setting available again in the future. If that is the case, they will likely release a new firmware update that will reenable the setting.

The hub will allow for communications with both Sol-Ark and SMA. I'm actually going to attach the list of compatible inverters below.

After speaking with R&D, I found out that we haven't tested this just yet, so for now, the VRM will only show what the Cerbo is displaying. Essentially, the only things you wouldn't be able to see would be the comms hub and the 6500.
