this is not what you want... this is to connect 2 12v lead acid... no charging at all..Interesting ! Thank you all for posting
I can physically build just about anything, but struggle with electric/electronics ?: so how is that buffer battery getting charged ? Direct off of the simple orion 24/12/70 converter, or would i need a charger/converter like in the pic ?

little over panel is no biggy as long as you voltage is within spec...Using the online victron scc calculator to re-calculate my two 2s2p solar panel arrays i realized that i probably get away with twin victron 100/30 if I go 24v... (im under 100v but overpaneled a couple watts ... however, I don't expect the 5 year old used and permanent flat mounted panels to deliver 100% anyway)
This would be very nice for the budget ?
You have a link to your build ? Would love to see it ... or any other similar setup to wrap my head around what I need to buy ...check out my build for my 2007 octane toyhauler...
it's 12v.. but move a few buss bars and you get 24v.. I want 3x 24v@560ah in my future 5th wheel
Thread 'Just ordered Lifepo4 prismatic cell 3.2V 280Ah lithium lifepo4' https://diysolarforum.com/threads/j...smatic-cell-3-2v-280ah-lithium-lifepo4.14955/
There are thousands of happy Victron MultiPlus 3000/12 owners who would say otherwise. In fact why would Victron release their new MultiPlus II 3000/12 in only 12V if this was something that doesn't work or not recommended?
Back in LA/AGM days it was tough to get 300A at 12V discharge needed but with todays lithium batteries this is not a challenge.
3000 ac watts * 1.5 low frequency fudge factor / 12 volts low cutoff = 375 dc amps
375 dc amps / .8 fuse headroom = 468.75 fuse amps.
According to the abyc 4/0 awg is only rated to 440 amps without melting the insulation off 105c rated wire.
According to the nec 4/0 awg is only rated to 260 amps without melting the insulation off 90c rated wire.
I don't want my wire getting anywhere near 90c so I would be looking at 2x 4/0 awg.

24 hour discharge test. 13.8v to 12.1v .... I set my bms to 12.v disconnect for 2 reasons. 1. longer battery life, 2. I have 8% battery left so that I can change my low voltage point and still start my generator. I still got 546ah without using the very top and bottom of the charge

yes I added 2 of the amps for outside I place a 10" outside.. I need to figure out how to mount it outside and stay weather resistant....I see another guy that loves his music/movies with a solid bass foundation ?
I didn't want to go overboard, but this ported 12" jbl simply rocks (literally ?) ... very pleased with the sound quality .... btw the battery compartment is just forward of it ...if i measured correctly (?) it should hold 16 x 280ah cellsyes I added 2 of the amps for outside I place a 10" outside.. I need to figure out how to mount it outside and stay weather resistant....
I also need to replace the OEM 12 with some sort of sealed sub.. the oem unloads under low bass like movie explosions sound like crap then
Avid boondocker, so I don't do campgrounds ... I only enjoy my intense music or movie night while out in the desert ... no neighbors in sight ?I LOVE a good sound system. But just remember that just because you love a particular artist at a particular time, doesn’t mean I do.
Please walk out of your camp location. If you can hear it more than a site away, it’s too loud
