Battery inverter to preheat diesel engine

If you decide to use battery power I’d seriously look for 12/24v heater options. Several European diesel models have had ”glow plug” heaters on engine coolant to get the engine faster to operating temps.

You can buy diesel heaters off Ebay. Buy 3 for 1/2 the cost of Espar and you have spares

Cold , No problem for LTO batteries , they are good for - 50 C and can fit into current compartment size.

Do you have cellular service where the unit is located? I have a possible solution if you can get an internet connection.
