Big Battery 12 owl Safety

I should receive my 12 Volt Owl battery today. After seeing the issue with the 24 volt battery do I need to worry ? Can I keep it upright ? Or should I place it on the back to avoid stacking the 4 batteries ?

I would lay it on its back. Volt meter facing up.

I'm going with placing it on it's back. This battery will spend some time in a van traveling. So some form of cushion sounds like a " Must " add on.
