You are talking about mixing LTO and LiFePo4, if I understand correctly. You can mix some of the battery chemistries if you know enough to understand exactly what you need to do with the charging and how the charging profile will affect both of the batteries. Based on the fact that you are running LTOs with a Lead Acid setting, I am guessing you are not up to speed on what would need to be done, even if mixing the two was reasonable. I am not familar with LTO voltages for charge and discharge to make a yes or no suggestion even in theory.

As far as runing LiFePo4 on a Growatt without BMS communications, yes you can do that, but you should set the battery type to one of the "user" settings and adjust to what you want for your battery.
 
ok i'll gonny try that in the future, when i do it i wil put some test results here on this forum !
