Is it ok to splice this usbc cable to this power cord for a computer? I have to bypass the original power plug to pc because that port doesn’t work per computer repair company. I can however charge it with usbc port. Usbc has data on green and white wire which I don’t need. But it does have a black ground and positive red. The computer cable has a positive red and cable that is outside of the red which I’m not sure what it is?? Is that the ground? I don’t have my multimeter on me. The wattage is appropriate for the usbc port btw. Please advise if this is doable or if I should avoid it? Not sure if I need to splice the usbc cord ground yo the outer wires from the power cord. ?
