Cheap china inverter/mppt strange ness

I have pow mr charger/inverter. 6kw max 500v dc model POW-HVM6 2M-48v


I've just tested the voltage from its PV input mc4 connectors and its outputting 25v, is this normal? this is with all strings disconnected. So when i connect the strings, it must send 25v to the panels. Not sure if this is something to be concerned about.

Yes, it's normal. Especially for a high frequency AIO.
This is why you should always turn it off before working on it.
If you need more convincing to work safely. Set your meter to AC and test it.

Yes its connected to a isolator switch. Getting 0v AC out of it just 25v DC, Guess that's fine then. Cheers
